The equation is simple really, give me more of what I earn, instead of
wasting it without giving me a choice and maybe I could afford a
mortgage. I actually rent a 2 bed flat which is cramped, and pay in
excess of £500 rent per month. The mortgage would be LESS than the
rent, but no financial institutuion will lend me the money to buy
similar because my earnings are not enough or I am over commited
already or whatever. My rent was raised by 15% earlier this year, and
we all know about the rises in day to day living costs, fuel etc, yet
my salary was boosted by a massive..... 1.64%. Go figure. I can't.
There are the facts of it. How am I a liar, or an idiot or both??? :-

An idiot, because you think that your problem is paying too much tax,
rather than the fact that you can't get a mortgage because of the
credit crisis.
As goes the sponsorship of a football team, I don't give a damn about
agreements made when NR were a private company, whether it was a
deliberate decision or not . I repeat, using taxpayers money in this
way is an utter disgrace and should have been stopped the moment that
the Government stepped in.
Northern Rock entered into a contract with Newcastle United; the
government purchased Northern Rock's assets and liabilities; therefore
the government is legally obliged to pay Newcastle United whether it
likes it or not. I prefer my governments to obey the rule of law.
How do you feel knowing that your hard
earned tax £'s are going towards paying the wages of a thug like Joey
Barton, yes the Newcastle United player who has just been released
from her maj's pleasure for kicking the holy snot out of some scouse
kid outside Maccy D's in Liverpool?
Can't say it really bothers me, although I was pleased to see Barton
go down this time.
