In terms of rail vehicles available to the public on paying a fare I
they probably are the largest - but how big I don't know!!Though the all-time largest, in terms of width of the vehicle and maximum
height above rail level, was probably held by the Brighton & Rottingdean
Seashore Electric Tramroad (the Daddy Long Legs). Thev legs were about 23 ft
high, with the cabin above that - and the cabin had two decks, an open deck
above an enclosed saloon. The track gauge (so approximately the width of the
vehicle was 18 ft.
