I'd suspect the rail-bourne transporters used by the Russians and
the Americans to move space vehicles from assembly hall to launch
pad are rather larger. The Saturn V, N1 and Energya transporters
were not small.
There have been some pretty big rail-bourne guns in the past, too.
Big enough to need breaking down for transport, even on Russian-
gauge lines.
"Everybody", in this case, is likely to be wrong.
