I quite agree that one can have two sets of friends. Might I humbly
suggest that in the future you respect the opinion of one of the most
respected members of this forum and do us all a favour by keeping your
friends separate?
I have no desire to wreck this newsgroup, nor to upset people who post
to it. Nor am I going to get into a slanging match with you. I have
nothing against you personally, even though I don't agree with you on
most topics, and find your attitude towards being intoxicated whilst
in charge of motorised forms of transport highly distasteful, to say
the least.
I recognise that the uk.transport bods are about as welcome here as a
fart in a spacesuit. Accordingly, I shall not again invite them to
post here. OK?
Now we've got that out of the way, I wonder whether, in your
collection of historical railway documents, you have anything on the
Pudsey loop? If so, I should be most grateful if you could let me
know.
Brian, with respect, you have little idea what my opinions are on most
topics.
And with equal respect, you have expressed your opinions on a number
of topics, both on this group and on uk.transport, and I disagree with
most of them.
I'll leave you to your old man baiting then. It obviously gives you
pleasure.

FFS, I hold out an olive branch, and you continue to bicker. I will
not argue with you on uk.railway - I have said that I accept that it
is a civilised forum and should be kept that way. I will not go back
on my word.

However, I cannot leave your comments unanswered. I have posted a
full reply on uk.transport, where this type of argument belongs.

Good news, Brian. Just got an email from a retired bobby who claims to have a lot of information about the track layout on the Pudsey loop. Haven't emailed him for ages but I thought he might come up with the goods. It is a bit of railway with which I am not familiar.

Brian.
