plausible. Do many people take the trouble to erect a tripod and then
hold it one by one leg instead of putting the legs on the ground? Do
many people have the wrist strength to do that? And the edges of the
RH tripod leg look all wrong.
So unless you have some corroboration, I'm calling fake.

I agree that it looks a bit odd - sufficiently to prompt me to
download the photo and open it in Photoshop. I do enough cloning
myself (removing damage from scans of old photos) to have some
confidence in my ability to spot it, and I do not see any here.
