At the other end of the nation (sort of), Scotrail had some livery
for, I think, The Scotsman newspaper (it had polka dots). They also
have/had a pair of commonwealth games-liveried 170s.
Thameslink and First Great Western Link (as was) had London 2012
units, and c2c have or had some cough medicine livery (as a "cough
free zone" carriage).
First Great Western had Volo, though in many respects that was self
advertising. Definitely self advertising was c2c's "green
train" (showing off the environmental credentials).
The main line registered class 40 carried some advertising, too (can't
remember what, but sports shoes come to mind for some reason).
I'm sure there must be some others, too.
