Not much. I disagree with the point you are attempting to make, so it
won't really matter what word you use to make it. It would be better if
you could provide evidence of a *similar* case that has come to court
and been deal with in a completely different way.

It shows that sentencing is a lottery, based largely on public demand.
That isn't justice.

Different case, different circumstances, different offences, and you
expect a similar outcome, why, just because both cases involve driving?
That doesn't make it look as if you have a sensible point.

You seem to be disagreeing with everything but not actually stating where
you stand. Do you think that a long jail sentence is appropriate for falling
asleep at the wheel? Are you saying that consequences should be the main
deciding factor, rather than intent? Are you a member of the legal fraternity?
