That's difficult to imagine. even in a Big Healey there's not a lot of
roon, and there are an awful lot of levers and things which would get in
painful places (shades of of the great Blaster Bates' comments on his
"performing on a motor cycle"[1]). Frogeyes are not to be thought of in
this context[2].
[1] "not sexually.. can you imagine it? Have you ever looked at the filler
cap on a Norton? It'd be like getting your knackers in a rat-trap". Or
very similar.
[2] Yes, I know that love (and related passions) are renowned for finding
a way. In a 2CV the way required an open door. But there's not a whole lot
of room in a frogeye.
I remember Batesy's comment on the Austin Seven: "Both doors open and put it
in reverse". When I briefly owned a Rover 80, I learnt about the reverse
bit.
[the BB monologue was about the Welsh couple who were interrupted by a loud
scream. The young woman said "it sounds like someone's 'avin a fit" to which
the bloke replied "aye, an' it sounds like a tight one an' all!"]
