In the days of First North Western, I was boarding a replacement
bus at Stockport, and was asked by a FNW manager (in the days
when TOCs concerned itseld with such things) to show
the driver the correct places to stop!

I've seen coach companies from Holyead, and even Ayr, on
Manchester - Hazel Grove services. The last one I used
was a company from Stoke and a driver from Nottingham.
