Do you think it would be democratic to force everyone to vote?
Yes! Well, not 'force' but have some penalty for not voting. Without
such a measure, democracy will die.
Democracy is already dead. It got us Tony Bliar, plus *** Cheney,
Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz et al. (fronted by the idiot Bush).
Ultimately, it got us Iraq.
there, but it sticks?
Same here I presume though?
Bush vs. Gore was very close, with Gore gaining more votes overall but
failing to win the majority of seats in the "electoral college". Bush
vs. Kerry was a clear vote in favour of Bush.
But Bush does not hold the reins of power. *** Cheney does, together
with a cabal of ultra-Zionist neo-conservatives whose policies have
changed the world significantly for the worse. But *** Cheney would
not be able to win an election, so the idiot Bush was chosen to front
the hideous team. Just as gullible Americans previously voted for the
folksy idiot Ronald Reagan, and the idiot's idiot George Bush
(Senior), they voted for George Bush junior and got the neo-cons
instead.
The tentacles of this team reach everywhere in US politics, not just
in foreign affairs. They have an agenda to dismantle Amtrak to the
greatest extent practicable. (ob. uk.r content)
