I'm afraid I'm not used to any other browser than IE6
and it's predecessors.

I added that note because some people were e-mailing
me direct to say that they couldn't get my Fotopic-based
images to appear at 1024 X 768 pixels.

Given that Internet Explorer comes standard on almost all PCs bought, and that the overwhelming majority of non-techies will be running it by default (and usually with no notion at all of how to alter any of its default settings), it seems perfectly sensible to provide such instructions, though perhaps as a single-line URL to an advice website rather than text with each post?

Something like:
Image size trouble? See http://my.website.gtld/image-view
where the link gives the instructions, perhaps in more detail.
