Reading-Brighton, and services west of Exeter, are both to go... which
DfT have cunningly hidden in a press release
The service pattern changes are in plain view. Nothing is hidden at all.
Nor is it at all unexpected. The molehill is a molehill.
As they say, the devil is in the detail.
Does this:
e. The Reading to Brighton service will be withdrawn because of
low passenger demand for a direct service. Intermediate stations
will continue to be served with new services.
....mean that Reading-Gatwick services are also for the chop, or is
Gatwick one such intermediate station which will retain a direct service
from Reading?
