Out of interest, other than pot luck in charity shops and at preserved

"official" source of 1950s and 60s versions of OS maps?
I'm hoping to post scanned images of the entire New Popular Edition on
a website RSN. Dating from the late 40s/early 50s, they cover the whole
of England and Wales at 1 inch to the mile, and are the latest OS
series to come out of copyright. (Scotland isn't covered, but I've got
quarter-inch to the mile scans of that.)
Downloads will, of course, be free, though modest donations towards the
cost of acquiring and scanning the maps will be welcome!
