Loughborough has shrunk!

I was at Leicester station last night, and saw a sign on the northbound platform which said:

"Loughborough and Long Easton - Only use coaches beyond this point".

And as we'd been nagged at almost every station southbound on a 9-car Meridian that the platform wasn't long enough and people should move this way or that if they wanted to get off, it seemed like a good idea to pay attention.

Imagine my surprise when the inbound 4-car Meridian stopped with just one coach beyond the sign (and three behind).
