The Box will be a two platform station that is expected to handle the GN and
Bedford line plus runs from Ashford Internationsl, Brighton, Eastbourne,
Sevenoaks and Guildford, plus a few others I have forgotten.
The only locos allowed through the tunnel are 31s, 33s and 73s.
On the funny side, the urban myth going around in certain circles was that a
ballast train supposed to be topped and tailed with a 33 at each end was
changed by mistake to a 66. When asked why this substitution had happened,
the planner pointed out quite correctly that 2x33 = 66!
