Because it doesn't suit the agenda of the PC, race, gender and
Nanny-State obsessed New Left now running the country.
I doubt there's an engineer, scientist or anyone from a business
background amongst the lot of them. They just don't get it, all they
know is the law, health, social services and education.
So they just keep on plucking the money tree without a thought for its
wellbeing.
Gordon Brown sits there scratching his head wondering why his economic
cycle won't cycle and fails to understand that things like crap
transport just might have something to do with it.
Sorry if this is reading like a party political broadcast but they
really are such idiots.
What's so annoying is that a TGV line could (and should) be highly
profitable and could be built quite cheaply with private sector
involvement, not to mention those lovely EU grants just waiting to be
picked up for this sort of thing.
