It is xenophobic, you have no evidence that 'more likely they notified the
French and the French didn't perform'. You don't even have any evidence that
there weren't any British officials there at the time. The only /official/
comment on the matter is that sometimes the British passport desks are not
manned.

Do you know how they knew he left on Eurostar?
