No. Not by the time you add in a sound card, computer and interface and
then you have to question who or more specifically what is having the qso.


I think everyone on here will already have a computer with a sound card as do most radio amateurs these days so that's not a issue. As for interface if your lucky (no RFI or earth loop problems)and have VOX on your TX, a set of leads will do.

Not the best solution I grant you but you can do it. Setting the levels needs a fine touch though but a simple 2 resistor 10 to 1 attenuator gets round that problem. If you use the 1/8w type you can even build them in to the plugs.
