The situation is that FrankTheWank, G3VKI, despite publishing many
grossly offensive things about me ("when you were born, the midwife
threw away the wrong bit") presumed to complain about me to aioe
with the result that aioe banned all posting to ura for everyone.
We do know that Frank started out as a TV repair man and had to
change jobs. It is true to say that every TV that Frank ever tried to
repair was sent to the scrap heap long ago!
I've actually got two accounts that I could post from, but both of them
publish the Internet address and because Nathan Hull G7KUJ is still
maliciously posting claiming that his posts come from my previous
Internet address, I am loath to publish my new address, which I've
had for two years.
I monitor ura on a daily basis. To some extent, it does not matter
that I am not currently posting because as you say, the flags for
decency and technical competence are being flown by others.
Perhaps you could publish my FAQ for me? if not, perhaps it
is time to remind M3OSN of his boasting about his own unlicensed
operation, especially as he's lambasting others about repeater
jamming ...

More years back than I care to admit- around 1969 ± I used to have an 19
set. It was 'brand new' and still in its packing case when I bought it for
£5- less £1 back if you returned the wood case! Anyway, I have the
recollection of getting the beast working on both HF and UHF- around 240 MHz
I recall.

M3OSN is getting a pasting today, but I think most people do not
understand what he's about. The FL is irrelevant to him because what
he has is a chronic need to be the centre of attention even when that
attention is hostile. He also has a deep seated need to want to belittle
everyone. The FL is merely the vehicle by which he gets that attention.
If only we could get him to champion some other cause, such as
promoting gypsy sites in residential areas where he'd get a lot of
negative attention, then we could wean him off Radio Hammery
and the damage he's doing!
Interesting that in my absence that M3OSN has found others to
direct his negative vendettas onto.
As to ura, I was often accused of trollling but I never did. All my
comments were uttered from a sincere belief that Radio hammery is
a technical pursuit with jealously guarded privileges. I do not know to
this day what prompted M3OSN to subject me to his unilateral campaign
of 3 years of grossly offensive gratuitously insulting material before
getting _ME_ arrested for harassment when I finally turned to defend myself.
