Jeff I've inserted the comma after "countered", hopefully making it
easier for you....and no, I was referring to the MOD rendering a large
segment of 2m unworkable after taking the view the allocation was a
threat to security, this was the deliberate interference I referred
too and the RSGB were referring to at the time.
No still does not make a lot of sense, perhaps an "and" after "jamming"
might make it easier to read, and some hint to what jamming you are talking
about might help??
I assume that you are referring to the situation in Northern Ireland (not
that it is clear from your post). This was rather a special case, and it was
not just 2m that was considered a threat and subject to "interest".

The subject being discussed was UK Amateur radio and terrorism then
deliberate Ministry Of Defence "jamming" was brought into it, given
the context I was hardly referring to Bob Marley or reggae.
