Yes but apparently not so quickly!

Again thanks for the offer of help but this is our last issue and we seem to
be getting close to a result,

For the general argument about which OS is best, I stick with my point that
the OS should be transparent to the end user who wants to use the computer.

I use and support many OS platforms and they are mostly fit for purpose.
I will say that the Linux community is better than Microsoft at supporting
users when they have issues.
