My old IC2E can receive D Star. Can't understand any of the noises but it
receives it fine!
It just takes practice. Speaking it is a bit harder.

I tend to sound the open bass string when lifting a left hand finger,...practice after a forced haitus, and I'm now hyper aware of this noise; ... Re: that "ah geez" feeling ... my suggestion is to quit fiddling with the star system and modify it. ... Gather wires into "mini-stars" that are not connected to the chassis....Power tube cathodes, speaker jack, the other power supply ... best practice to use a PT bolt, ... (alt.guitar.amps)
