I've always been in favour of giving free alcohol and free hard drugs
- as much as they like - to those idle layabouts who live on bleedin'
council estates.

Why the class barrier? Honest citizens would benefit from a universal cull
of the weak-willed and addiction-prone.

There are far too many of these damned lower-class types. Let the
ignorant little buggers kill themselves off.

Show some humanity, Nick, and give parents more power. Abolish Child
Benefit, stop giving subsidised housing to people who have more children
than they can afford, withdraw public funding from treatment for alcohol
and drug abuse. When parents have to choose which of their offspring to
feed and which to starve, they will either prosper from learning more
responsible behaviour or die out naturally.

A provocative statement I will make now I'm sure. When I was first married
our goal was to work hard enough to afford a house and only after that did
we think about having children when our allowances could afford such. These
days children seem to be used as a means of benefit by so many who rush into
it and expect everyone to bail them out when they get in a total mess, as
many noticeably do.
I remember listening on channel in the early 80s to a girl who wanted to
move out of her parents and get her own place. In her thoughts the only way
she could do this was by getting pregnant and having children so the state
would look after her. She was just coming up to 16 yrs of age. I could not
understand why she never thought of meeting a nice boy, getting married,
settling down after working to afford their own place and then think of
children. Then again I was bought up in a different era I guess.
