Carol, you need to think about the numbers. Do you really think the
government have the resources to "tap your phone" or read your mail just for
the fun of it? Of course they don't. They probably don't even have the
resources to take such steps in all cases when they have grounds to suspect
a serious crime!

By the end of 2009 (AFAIK) all VoIP traffic (such as Skype) will be logged, so Big Brother will have more to see what you are up to.
