Answering my own question for the benefit of others
The K400s mount doesn't fit along the top of the hatch - it's far too
tight and the way the roof lips over the boot I don't think any mount
will fit there.
The K400 will fit one the lower edge of the boot though in a position
to the left or right of the spoiler - not the best position but I'm
now putting a longer / higher gain antenna than planed for.
