It's what Ham Radio (a technical pursuit) is all about, as distinct
from CB Radio (An operating hobby for those who buy their rigs
off the shelf and who are incapable of modifying and maintaining them)
So someone who sells an FT101 he was unable to get working, or buys s/h
homebrew QRP radio rather than building one falls into which category?
Modifiers and maintainers, perhaps?
I don't know anyone who sold an FT101 because he was unable to get it
working. I only know of someone who sold a fully-working FT101E because
he needed the space it was taking up.
I didn't ask if you knew anyone, I did ask what category who acted as I
described would fall into.
