First of all the other two new licensees seem ok...he seemed to stalk
them all day...I was listening up and down 2m at times to hear if anyone
was around and I heard one of the other two ask him why he doesn't just
read the manual and come back later when he has figured it out...good
advice...two seconds later he was on s20 asking (calling) for advice on
setting the repeater shift...to which some squeaky replied "19 for a rig
check"...go figure!!!...


I remember a fellow who did time for illegal transmissions and is now a
G6.
