You know how much it costs to keep people in prison? It's a lot more
than the likes of you and I contribute in tax every year.

Which is part of the problem, if the prisoners are made to graft to eat etc.
the costs would be reduce. A prison just needs to be secure- the rest the
prisoners should do. No work, no food, or roof, etc.
