I suggest that you Google for the term "radiated heat".

I attach greater weight to the opinion of a large number
of universities than I do to the opinion of someone who
pretends to have a PhD but then is quite incapable of
describing what it is that he discovered to warrant the
conference of the degree; someone whose frequent
forays into this NG are _ALWAYS_ for the purpose
of interjecting infantile remarks and never for the
purpose of originating scientific or technical subject
matter.

Andrew Gillfilling, have you ever originated a thread
that is of a scientific or technical subject matter? If so,
how long was it before that or those thread(s) were
degenerated by you into an excuse for infantile outbursts?

But the Google record also shows twas you who declared heat
to be an electromagnetic wave, and who pooh-pooh'd all references to
the contrary (including one whose contributors included members
of the Royal Society, the most prestigious scientific body of
the land). If you debate in such a manner you can only expect to
