Nope.. the boot from usb option is to boot from a usb hard drive, usb cd
rom or usb memory key.
How does it use USB if there is no operating system loaded?
Presumably it must have some sort of driver?
If so can't it be used to load the keyboard from USB?
If you think what the function of a driver is, then it is clear.
Drivers really just provide an abstraction layer between the HW and the
"higher" software- basically they provide a common interface the the
"higher" software (eg Windows) can talk to. The BIOS does much the same.
If the BIOS includes some extra software that can handle the USB interface
enough to use the keyboard (or anything else), Robert is you dad's brother
;-)
