I know for a *fact* that a couple of the 'CB illiterati' in the South West of the UK were, basically, stood over and told which answers to put on their 2E0 'exam' paper.
The weird thing is that those CBers are rarely heard on the amateur bands, yet are apparently still very active on 27MHz (which suits me just fine). Makes me wonder why they bothered 'taking' the exams. Still, at least having an amateur callsign gives them an excuse for why they have lots of 10m kit in their shack (which just happens to tune up nicely on 27.555....not that they would ever venture down there...of course not....no no no) if Ofcom ever knocked on their door.
