The cuts, the cuts!....


Austerity is everywhere - everything is being cut (except for bank bonuses, of course) and even the Beeb is doing its bit to pander to the national mood of 'less is more'

Not by cutting salaries, of course (that is unthinkable) but a 'PM' report of the 'shocking' racism displayed by football fans belonging to less enlightened nations than ours, included a thought provoking jaunt by the England squad to Auschwitz - where, according to the Beeb, 'almost a million people died'

Even the holocaust industry, it seems, is in recession - it used to be three and half million people dead. Then around two million, then about one and half million, and now Auntie has reduced the figure still further.

If these hard times continue, it won't be long before we're told that no-one died there at all - and, in fact, babies conceived there added significantly to the world's population...
