"Many Argentines are just disconnected with reality and believe that a
comparison can be made there. They have an unrealistic sense of self
importance, they hate UK and they feel that UK should return the hatred and
the relevance. And that is just not the case.
I am sorry for the Argentines who think like me and live in Argentina. It's
a great country but it seems unable to function as a real democracy with a
significant segment of the population being Peronist, a neofascist form of
government that is hard to stomach for anyone who believes in democracy with
minority rights. I have done what I could for my country. I created Educ.ar
an education platform opened to the internet hoping among other things for
Argentine students to learn from the world, to get other points of view. But
it's a tough fight."
