"where are those rising temperatures the watermelons keep
claiming?"

There looks to be a mean average of ~0.38 rise to me in that
chart. Easily explainable by variations in natural climate. No?

i don't know to which chart you are referring...

the whole point of the post was/is to draw people's attention
to the(common) fraudulent use of charting...

one issue on which i am attempting to expand awareness
is that these series cannot be discussed with reason, unless
the assumptions being used are very clearly highlighted....
one of the vital issues is the start and end points of time series
chosen...and the reasons for choosing those particular
points...

time frames are vital...
reasoning for end point choices are vital...

too many people do not understand this...and most of them are
either fooled by that lack of understanding or are completely
unable to reason clearly because they lack that awareness
