If we truly "Educated" the People they would have the ability to "Think"
for themselves:-(

The last thing the Governement wants is educated people in case they
became forced to use battle tanks à la Tieneman.
Some people think that will never happen in a "free" country.

That is murder by neglect, a similar thing is said to have happened to the
men who crewed the ships that stopped the Spanish Armada back in 1588 who
after the battle, because there was not enough money in the treasury to pay
them were not allowed to disembark and around 8000 died through various
diseases like dysentery and bad food.

The current Government in Britain does not like history at all and will
change it to a more communist or ethni-polar world view wherever possible
like in schools and in the media (BBC again) also tradition and ceremony
that reminds people of the counties fairly decent past is discarded wherever
possible as with the new leftist speaker in the house of commons John Bercow
who favours a lounge suit over traditional regalia.
