Well piss off to one of them then....instead of living out in the sticks

labour and the police state they have created...and the client culture
that has sprung up to allow the bastards to be in power at all.

Perhaps a spell in one of our larger town and cities will do you some
good! Once you realise that many of our larger towns and cities are
actually the shitholes of society...you might just change your view
about
the 'benefits' of living in or near one!

If anything...it's twats like you, out in the sticks who should be
paying
much more to subsidise the policing of the shitholes you support!

That's bitter.

Why didn't you move somewhere nice?

I stopped living in the large provincial cities over twenty five years
ago,
and took the inevitable big cut in pay, to go and live in a nice quiet
seaside town.

Not bitter at all.
I don't actually live in an inner city or a large town......yes I can get
broadband......and I do....but I don't really need it. Very very few people
do!
Besides, Satalite broadband would always be an option....and the rest of us
would not be expected to compensate people who chose that route.
But I go back to the days of dial up with demon internet at a crappy speed
of...god, I cannot remember!
But my only real complaint at the time was that it was charged by the
minute!

As I said, I don't really need broadband speeds....despite needing 24/7
internet access.
People only really need broadband speeds if they are downloading very large
files...but 99% of very large files that get downloaded are illegal
anyway...and I'm sure Rowing would not support that activity!

I object to Rowing saying that I should contribute towards him being able to
get broadband that he most likely does not need...will not really use...and
if he did, if would probably be for dodgy downloading anyway...especially
given that he could already get it via satalite if he really wanted it!
Why the *** should I pay towards that....just so Brown can stand up and
pretend Britain is 'leading the way....' (while totally ignoring that some
countries already have 100meg broadband speeds).

I plan to move 'somewhere nice' as you put it....but at the moment I need to
be where I am for work and school reasons.
But even now, if I'm honest I could manage on a 14.4kbs dial up
connection..sure it might take 20 seconds to send/recieve emails instead of
5...but so what!
But when I do move 'somewhere nice', I will not expect, or even want the
'benefit' that I currently 'enjoy'.
And I certainly would not expect someone else to pay for them...but then
I've never really been one for leeching off other people!
