Last week we had the show trial of the bankers with Gordon telling us
how angry we should be. This week we have the pension and Gordon
telling us how angry we should be.
We live in a post spin society where instead of the a gloss being put
on news stories by politicians they have hijacked the entire BBC
network filling it with blatent party political propoganda.
This week curtesy of the BBC we have several why I have not fiddled my
expenses broadcasts. At least one recruitment broadcast for the Army
emphasising the benefits of desert sand for playing healthy out door
games. We have had numerous broadcasts on the 'why the economy is
nothing to do with me as controller of the FSA, Bank of England,
Treasury etc etc. We have had a several broadcasts talking up the
possibility of rioting in the summer by Police Officers preparing for
negotaitions on why none of their number should be made redundant.
We have not had broadcasts on how the Government is going to ignore
the European Court Ruling on the destruction of a large part of the
DNA database. We have not had broadcasts on the factual aspects of the
recession and it's effects on peoples standards of living and the need
for considerable tax increases in future. We have not had broadcasts
on why they have have discovered several million more immigrants in
the country or their policy towards immigration.
In fact what we have is Politicians using the BBC to create hysterical
verbal abuse against various chosen scapegoats who then are
metaphorically lynched by the baying mob whilst they poor fuel on the
fire by daily telling us who next we should direct our anger against.
It's never the real culprits and they do it very profesionally.
