You could, however, *show* a picture of a cup of tea...
MM
I'll buy that picture from you.!
I have other similar piccies of plates of biscuits - I could bundle them
together sell them on...and make a fortune!
Sooner or later though, someone will default on a payment, and someone will
try to recover those debts.......might have some explaining to do lol.
I wonder what the bank would say if you popped in and handed the
cashier a photograph of £34.19 to pay the lecky...
Rory Bremner could have great fun with this. Or Dom Joly.
As I was watching PMQs earlier I pictured Gordon Brown sitting down at
12:30 and taking a swig of water from his glass (he didn't actually
appear to have a glass, but imagine he did). And then Darling would
lean across and have a swig from the same glass. Passing it down the
line to Harriet Harperson, she'd grasp it with both hands and
practially drain it. Jack Straw would look miffed (his default
countenance) and point at the dregs, whereupon one of them would reach
under the table and fetch out the carafe. Soon the whole front bench
would be passing the single glass backwards and forwards, getting
merrier all the time, while the opposition looked on in stunned
silence.
Then, after a few minutes of this, Cameron would glance at Osborne, a
resigned look on their faces, and one or the other would reach under
*their* side of the table...
Finally, the Speaker gets the glass and there's nothing left.
"Order! Order!"
Maybe I just fell asleep during one of Brown's interminables.
