I´m not from London, but no country bumkin either. The last 30 years
I lived in Berlin in a district with well over 50% people from
Turkish ,
Arabic and assorted other "non-German" backgrounds. My daughter
went to school there.I worked there and felt at home. What do you mean
"living it"? I met arrogant assholes and scared petty bourgeois as
well as
fine neighbors and colleagues,and they came in colors from pink to
brown.
When I meet a bunch of idle blokes in the street late at night I take
care
no matter what language they speak, and go on with my business.
Macho behavior and violence are no matter of descent.
