Mel is an Americanophile who believes the USA is the freest country on
earth and that cannabis prohibition is compatible with freedom. Ergo
he can't think straight.

Perhaps it's because I have never sampled cannabis is one of the
reasons why I can and do think straight.
I don't measure freedom in terms of whether one is or is not allowed
to smoke cannabis. I leave that to those who are so obsessed with the
subject that on here they talk of little else. I can't explain the
cause of their obsession. Of that I can only guess.
As a matter f fact having enjoyed the hospitality of the US people in
their own country on a number of occasions I would hold up US
democracy and judicial systems as as good as any and better than most.
If every country operated in these respects as does the USoA the world
would be a much less troubled place.
If calling me americanophyllic gives you consolation then be my guest.
I can assure you it is no insult to me.
