Brutal African negro robs nine-year-old white girl of her mobile phone

Detectives are seeking information on an incident in which a nine-year-
old girl was robbed of her mobile phone in Babb's Mill recreation
ground, off Fordbridge Road, Kingshurst ..It happened at about 6pm on
Sunday, april 27, when the girl was walking her dog near to the
basketball court. She was approached by a man, who pulled her into a
bush nearby.

The man demanded her mobile phone and took it from her jacket pocket,
at which point the dog barked at two girls walking nearby. The man
then kicked the victim's leg but she was not injured.

The blue-eyed thief, described as black, 5ft 6in-5ft 8in tall, in his
late 20s to early 30s, said to be of chubby, muscular build, made off
towards Cooks Lane.
