You do realise that most of these organisations are just
marketing companies, selling a sales pitch.
Good sales pitch.
They have several factories, several hundred million $
investment, and have presold $150m of production.

Of course, they could be lying and are really 2x as expensive as
they claim, putting them on a par with the competition. IIRC the
biggest manufacturer is Chinese, currently churning out 400MW per
year of PV and intending to push that to 1GW quite soon. That's
like one nuclear power station per year capacity.
correction....
a nuclear power station should work at night and during
thunderstorms
Importantly, it works when you need it most.... ie. when its night
and cold.
true to a point....but keep in mind that peak demand
is in the daytime...
eg from factories and while people are awake

And thus, as you pointed in an earlier post, it can contribute as an
extra, but not a core of our energy needs.

You have it the wrong way around.
Solar will provide the bulk of energy needs, with nuclear being the
night time filler when power demand drops.

ROFL.I can only assume you come to such an opinion through ignorance,
because if you have studied the facts and still come to such a conclusion,
then your general reasoning capabilities are somewhat limited. I dont wish
to be rude, but you have little to no understanding of our real energy
needs.
