BBC interviewer..."so what you're saying is that crops will be rotting in

There is a broader perspective than just filling a need for workers
and the BBC are aware of this. They would be failing in their remiss
if they were not. We are building a multicultural society and the
remoulding of the nations identity requires the dynamic infusion of
multiple cultures so that one is not disproportunately represented.
Large numbers of immigrants are necessary to achieve this aim and the
creation of a positive public perception of immigrants is an absolute
prerequisite for achieving it. The BBC are doing an excellent job in
this regard.
