In the 1950s libraries and newspapers were full of books and articles
about the camps in Germany mass exterminating people. I borrowed all
the books in my local library. I read The Scourge of the Swastika and
several others. They were as a whole full of pics and statements which
would convince anyone.

And the "pics and statements" were not fakes.

All the concentration camps had their individual stories some were
more terrible than others but none mitigated the relative excesses
that existed in some of them. None mitigated the horror that existed
in all of them. Even in Dachau over 8000 died in the brief time (~10
years) that the camp existed. Neither could any set aside the fact
that, in the main, those who suffered the deprivations of the camps
had no business being there is the first place.>>

Noe of that is in dispute. You are playing the standard game of
suggesting that if any element is false those suggesting such are
saying it's all false.

The mass gassings story is politically crucial to a number of groups
with huge sums of money and power at stake. If it did not exist
something similar would be produced.
