Equality in Employment says that discrimination is lawful if it is "to
give people from a particular racial group (or groups) the opportunity

Oh you are silly. This sort of thing is common practice. Why are you
presuming to comment on things that you are so ignorant about?
Of course the misdemeanor here is the punishment of innocent people
for things that are nothing to do with them.
