Chris X, your opinion is needed: Is this a storm in a teacup that will be forgotten in a matter of days, just like the Danish cartoons were?


Look, I have little time for any religion and Islam would very easily come at the top the list, but please please can someone tell me exactly what this man has actually done for this country which is so important that it deserves a knighthood?

Now I'm not usually into conspiracy theories, but things being what they are the government knows very well the kind of reaction that this was going to provoke in less enlightened parts of the world, therefore one could be excused for thinking that a major consideration was an attempt to deliberately stir up some kind of confrontation with the Muslim world.
