...War By Referrendum

I would like to propose that in future
when a major war is up for consideration
that the general public are allowed a
referendum on the matter.
As it stands the PM can go to war a whim.
Talk is of the PM having to go to the commons first.
I suggest the PM should go to the country.
This land should be run be the people of the land.
As it stands the choice of parties is severely limited.
Both much like each other.
It is crazy that the people are told that they get
to chose who runs the country when that party can
turn round, apply conscription and send us off to
a war that will get most of us killed. What right
does government have to do that? Via the Queen, Via God?
In this day and age? How enlightened are we? How backward?
If the government decided on a foolish war.
On conscription.
That would see many millions of English people wiped
out so foolishly, the government could do it, because
we allowed them to.
However our lives are worth more than some arms manufactures profits.
It's time that the decision on whether or not to go to war
was taken from deluded Prime Ministers and gullible
social climbing MPs and given back to the people.
