The stock market responsible for the decline in British industry?

I heard some chatter on R5 yesterday talking about the shutdown of the
burberry factory in Wales... Its interesting to note that the shares have
doubled in price since the announcement...
Some corporate cant was claiming how it (burberry) can be made better and
cheaper in china or eastern europe...
I definitely dispute their claim it will be better quality, but cheaper
perhaps.
But not one spot of benefit for the British worker, plenty of benefit for
those rich enough to own shares.
Roll on the day people start going postal on these corporate motherf&^%£s
