Yup another 93,000 brits on the dole to add to the total of 1.7 million out
of work and nearly 2 million on disability benefit, and still labour want to
let in more immigrants
And imagine that we stopped immigration altogether tomorrow.
Where would we get the workers to do the jobs that many Brits simply
won't and in some cases can't do?
Who would lift the cabbages? Who would empty the bins? Who would clean
the floors? Work in the kitchens? etc. etc.
Who did these jobs before?
Who managed to keep the country going making a huge war effort 39-45?
Who, over generations and generations, built the wealth of the country,
to whom we owe a huge debt for their enormous contribution?
Italian and German POWs. As soon as we got some, we could start
planting cabbages again. It is said that Britain was never as well fed
as throughout the war.
Besides, I've never seen a non-English dustman, and the chars round
here are English women, as are the agricultural workers. Do you live
in one of our many colonised areas and imagine that the whole country
is the same?
I live in the Fens and there are many fine young Polish women wherever
I go. I'm even thinking of learning Polish in case I get lucky.
Castles are cheap over there, I hear.
