Israel could not militarily defeat Hezbollah - that's the bottom line.
don't talk crap it just wastes time....

further define 'defeat'
Failure to achieve ones stated war aims, namely:
a) return of the kidnapped soldiers
b) the destruction of Hezbollah

try reading what the Israeli PM claimed - it was printed in all the
newspapers and even Fox showed him mouthing off.
So, Israel was defeated because it failed to achieve *any* of its stated
war aims. And those statements were *very* public indeed. Even you must
have heard of them.

i am not interested in alleged 'public statements'
i am only interested in real world facts.

Facts like the stated reasons why Israel went to war and stated facts as
to what its war aims were? Or facts as to whether those war aims succeeded?

you might start by a rational consideration of the rational objectives
of the action

your attempts to cut out any of my responses to you reeks of your further
dishonesty

Pot, kettle, black...

your dishonesty is as wasted on me, as is the dishonesty of buzzy.....
you are behaving dishonestly
though you could claim you're merely stupid....
